Induction weeks

Induction weeks are the initial period of attendance for children, parents and educators required to know each other and to create bonds of trust.
Induction weeks provide an approach between different worlds that turn in relation to each other; this involves a change in the child's life habits, a reorganization of the family context and construction of new relationships.
In order to live this period in a serene way, it is necessary for the child to be accompanied by mum and dad, to feel himself welcomed, listened and valued by those adults to whom he will gradually be entrusted.

During induction weeks children are organized in small groups (4/5), at first with mum or dad; then they are progressively separated from their parent through inclusion of routines (snack, meal, change and sleep).

Induction weeks, respecting children’s times; educators and parents evaluate together on a daily basis how to proceed in order to keep the well-being of all the people involved.
Induction weeks are personalized on needs and times of the child, but also of the parents; are arranged together with the new families, in an assembly in June.
